Liberty Bell Agency, Inc. is a full service Title Agency providing Title Insurance, Title Searches, Tax Search Information, and Closing Services throughout Pennsylvania.

Challenge

The Tax Search Services Division of Liberty Bell was looking for a way to track its customer orders electronically. Each order required issuing requests to several tax collection agencies for tax certification and gathering responses to update order status. With a paper based approach for order processing it very difficult and time consuming for the division to keep track of its orders.

Solution

We developed an order tracking and management application for Liberty Bell, which allowed staff members to check the status of each order. Any files that were required for order processing were also attached with the order. An interface was provided that could be used to automatically issue tax certification requests from within the application. A paper based response from a tax collection agency could then be scanned into the application to track when a response was received. With any order a staff member could now check when a request was made, how many responses were received and if they could close an order.

Benefits

The application has significantly cut down the time it takes to look up orders and has improved record keeping and decreased paper usage and waste.
